A german-brazilian genealogy
This site collects several trees of brazilian families with german ancestry.
One tree (Heusers) contains the results of my research. Two other (Benckes and Diefenthaelers) contain the brazilian descendants of those imigrants and are authored by other researchers. Notice that a same person may appear in more than one tree.
Most of the immigrants came from Germany in the 19th century, mainly from Hunsrück, Pommern and Hessen. Since the immigration, they lived mainly in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazilian's southmost state, around cities like São Leopoldo, Santa Cruz do Sul and Venâncio Aires. |

Morel & Pellerin families of Canada
I published this site to share all the work I have done already on the Morel and Pellerin families of Acadia and Canada. There are over 3050 Morel and 1550 Pellerin. Of course we are not all related since 4 or 5 Morel families immigrated from France to Canada in the 17th century. However, I believe that all Morel of Canada may find this helpful in finding "their" line. |

Généalogie des Amar de Salonique
This site shows what is known as of this day of the AMAR families originating in Salonica (today in Greece and before 1912 in the Ottoman Empire), where a very large Sephardic community lived prior to being almost entirely wiped out by the Nazis. Three different trees are shown as the links between them are not yet established. Any new information is of course very welcome !
All bearers of the AMAR surname also of Sephardic origin, but with roots elsewhere (North Africa for example) are invited to join in and publish their trees here too if they so wish !
